We hope you will join us at the Tammany Trace for Celebrate Trails Day! This is an annual event hosted by the Rails to Trails Conservancy and enjoyed by people all across the country who are celebrating America’s amazing trails this spring.

Celebrate Trails Day is more than just a day outside, it’s an opportunity to enjoy your local trails while sharing appreciation for the ways that trails make an impact on our lives and communities.
 

Join us Saturday morning at Koop Drive as we partner with Keep Louisiana Beautiful and Love the Boot Week, to participate in a trail clean up on the Tammany Trace from 9 am to 12 pm.

It's not a proper Louisiana celebration without food, so there will be an assortment of food trucks to choose from at Koop Drive.
 

Head out to Camp Salmen Nature Park for a history discussion about the site, and a nature walk including plant, tree, and bird identification. 
 

Events are scheduled at multiple trailheads along the Tammany Trace, so plan to come out and celebrate your trail!
