Trace Closure

The Tammany Trace from 3^rd Street to Jenkins Avenue in Covington will be closed on February 6 and February 7, 2024.  

The Louisiana DOTD will be closing the Tammany Trace bridge over the Bogue Falaya on January 18, 2024 for several weeks as part of the Collins Boulevard Expansion Project.

We worked with DOTD to keep this section of the Trace open as long as possible, however, construction crews cannot advance the Collins Boulevard expansion without this closure. Crews will be removing a section of the Trace bridge, then replacing it. 

More closures can be expected along this section of the Trace until the project is complete.
